Good vibrations in Gisborne over the future of their mothballed railway.
KiwiRail has offered a lease on the damaged Napier-Gisborne line to the Hawke's Bay Regional Council.
Gisborne mayor Meng Foon says it's something his district council supports.
He says the plan is simple.
"We'll fix the line once and hopefully they'll be able to run forever," he says.
The repair bill for the line is estimated at $4million - and the regional council has until March to make a decision.
