Queenstown Airport security officials have stopped a man from boarding a flight with a concealed knife.
Police says the 63-year-old was caught with the weapon hidden behind his belt buckle by Aviation Security employees yesterday.
He had been attempting to board a flight from Queenstown to Wellington.
Police have charged the man with possession of an offensive weapon and he will appear in the Queenstown District Court on Monday.
