Reflecting how nervous Paris is right now, a panic broke out Sunday evening among a crowd gathered at a memorial at one of the sites of Friday's terror attacks.

Mourners were lighting candles and laying flowers at the Place de la République, when dozens of people began running in panic after someone claimed to hear gunshots.

According to French authorities, the panic ended quickly and police have cleared the memorial.
