The sheer volume of people participating in Macedonia's 20,000 strong anti-government protest has been documented, thanks to the power of the drone.
It was a sea of Albanian and Macedonian flags, as demonstrators showed a face of unity outside the Prime Minister's office in Skopje.
The protest decried police brutality and government corruption, calling on the resignation of the country's Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.Â
The demonstration followed the release of recordings by opposition leader Zoran Zaev, which appear to show ministers scheming to rig votes, mismanage public funds and cover up a murder.Â
In 2001, the country neared civil war when armed rebels demanded greater rights for the Albanian minority.Â
The Government contends the movement is trying to destabilise the country for its own benefit, and is organising a counter-demonstration scheduled for later today.Â
