The Prime Minister's weighing in on Irish ambassador Trevor Mallard's early return home.
Foreign Minister Winston Peters yesterday announced Mallard's replacement, saying the carnival's over for the former Parliament speaker.
Chris Luxon says the decision was up to Peters.
