As the Covid-19 death toll approaches 50,000 in the USA, it's emerged 26 million people have now requested unemployment benefits since the outbreak.
Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking demand is so high, people can't even get hold of support providers.
He says before pandemic it took two to three weeks to process jobless claims, now some people say they've heard nothing for five weeks.
Almost four and a half million Americans have filed jobless claims in the past week alone.
