It's finally happened, the Warriors have new owners.
It was announced yesterday afternoon the Warriors have been sold to the Carlaw Heritage Trust, also known as the Auckland Rugby League, and Autex Industries Limited.
Autex Industries has a 33 percent stake in the team, a fitting move as the company was the first New Zealand business to sponsor a sports team in the form of the Kiwis in 1979.
ARL Chairman and majority owner Cameron McGregor and Autex Industries CEO Mark Robinson joined Mike Hosking to talk about the deal, why they got involved, and what the plan is.
