Hard-hit hospitality businesses are breathing a sigh of relief over a switch to Orange. 

But they're not out of the woods yet.  

The move means no more indoor and outdoor restrictions - and customers no longer need to be seated and separated a metre apart.  

Auckland's The Grange restaurant co-owner Mark Wilson told Mike Hosking demand is building, but they're heading into softer trading months. 

He says they're remaining positive, but there are many suffering badly with a huge recovery period coming - and some just won't get through.
