
The Prime Minister's rubbishing the renewed claim that the Government's covering up an $11 billion fiscal hole.
Then-Finance Minister Steven Joyce made the allegation in the run-up to last year's election, a claim rejected by independent economists.

But it's bubbled to the surface again after an article from economist Cameron Bagrie, claiming Joyce was right.
Jacinda Ardern told Mike Hosking the truth of that hasn't changed.
"This idea that somehow this now means that Steven Joyce was correct is just wrong, it is patently false."
Ardern says their borrowing has been by-the-books, and weaker growth would have happened regardless of who was in power.
