Robertson rejects claims of fiscal hole in Government's books

Grant Robertson is once again rejecting claims of a fiscal hole in the Government's books.

The fiscal hole saga erupted last year when then-Finance Minister Steven Joyce claimed Labour would need to borrow an additional $11.7 billion to cover increased spending.

Independent economist Cameron Bagrie now believes Mr Joyce will be proven right, however, Grant Robertson denies that.

Robertson told Mike Hosking most economists are forecasting steady growth.

" Most economists are forecasting growth of around 3% over the next three-to-four years."
