Kiwi criminals who have been kicked out of Australia are teaming up to commit more crimes here.
The last two people involved in New Zealand's largest meth bust in history have been sentenced.
The 500-kilograms of meth came on a boat, which waited off Ninety Mile Beach.
Justice Minister Andrew Little told Mike Hosking police have tracked where ex-Australian gang members in New Zealand are living.
"They are gravitating towards each other. Organised crime is becoming a real issue in New Zealand."
