New Zealand should learn from others' mistakes in our Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
Australia's community pharmacies are currently awaiting the green light to start administering the vaccine.
Health professionals say they should've been involved in the process right from the start.
Pharmacy Guild chief executive Andrew Gaudin told Mike Hosking we need to take note and use our pharmacists early.
"Community pharmacies are being used very effectively in international settings, in the UK, US, and now in Australia."
He says it's critical community pharmacies play a part in New Zealand's vaccine rollout.
"Community pharmacies need to play a key role. We absolutely need to use our 1800 vaccinators."
