The US Justice Department is to review the police response to the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.  

Authorities have so far struggled to give a clear timeline on how the events unfolded, to much public anger.  

Officials have admitted police delayed entering the school for over 40 minutes as they did not believe it was still an active shooter situation.
