Top businessman Rob Fyfe has quit his business liason role with the Government and has returned home without so much as a thank you from the Prime Minister.
Fyfe worked without pay at the Covid 19 command centre in Wellington for eight weeks during the lock down.
He wrote to Jacinda Ardern and Grant Robertson midway through May telling them he was returning to Auckland but offering to continue to assist if needed.
More than three weeks on the letter hasn't even been acknowledged.
Fyfe, the former Chief executive of Air New Zealand, says he's still available to assist the Government with the challenges Covid 19 will bring for years to come.
