A potential threat to independent motor vehicle repairs.
IAG, who is the parent company of insurance brands State, AMI, NZI and Lumley, has created a company called Repairhub which takes care of the easier repair jobs.
Collision Repair Association's Neil Pritchard told Heather du Plessis-Allan those brands account for up to 60 per cent of the industry.
"If they've got 10Â or 12 Repairhub shops doing between 80 to 100 jobs a week - that could be 50,000 jobs coming out of the pool that's no longer available to regular repairers."
