An interim report from the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion has made some recommendations in order to strengthen strengthen counterterrorism responses.
The commission is examining the circumstances surrounding the December 14 attack in which 15 people were killed during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach.
Australian correspondent Murray Olds says some of the recommendations haven't been made public, but there's calls for a gun buyback in response to the attack.
