A men's clothing store in Auckland has one of the more unique retail store services, and their co-founder reckons it is a winner.

Asuwere is a men's store in Commercial Bay that allows customers to pay a monthly fee to receive a box of clothes, with no stress or shopping.

Fashion designer and co-owner of Asuwere Sam Hickey told Heather du Plessis-Allan there are similar models overseas, but few if any are the same as theirs.

"We've established what guys need or what's often hard to find," Hickey says. "We align it with the weather or with nice colours that work well with your existing wardrobe."

Mr Hickey says people's busy lives makes their service very attractive.

"We've got a lot of business owners, a lot people that work in a whole lot of industries that are kind of beyond that shopping, and they can see what we're offering."

Mr Hickey adds they benefit in the sense they are able to predict a large portion of their sales.
