Business leaders say a lot of work needs to be done to get more women into management roles in New Zealand.
It comes after a report revealed if women held 50 percent of leadership positions, it would boost our economy by almost $900 million.
Women currently hold 29 percent of the country's managerial roles.
General Manager of Human Resources at Westpac Gina Dellabarca told Rachel Smalley diversity increases productivity.
"Having more women role models at leadership level throughout business increases greater levels if women can see opportunities to potentially reach leadership levels and that in turn increases participation."
