The wreckage and debris left when a skydiving plane crashed into Lake Taupo has been recovered.
Thirteen people managed to parachute to safety from the aircraft on Wednesday.
Salvage divers have spent about six hours in the water gathering all the pieces today.
A helicopter flew three large bits of wreckage to shore, while a barge was used to lift the engine from the water along with bags of smaller pieces.
An initial examination took place this afternoon.
The engine, at least, will be sent to its manufacturer in Canada to be examined.
