A stretch of road on the edge of Blenheim has been closed while police respond to an incident.
Police said Wairau Bar Rd is closed between Ferry Rd and Dicks Rd.
“Members of the public are advised to avoid the area,” police said. “There is not believed to be any risk to public safety.
“Further information will be released when we are in a position to do so.”
