One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Emergency services were called to the accident on the Paeroa-Kopu Rd, in Kopu, at around 9pm yesterday.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
