The house of a key New Zealand's women's suffrage leader is up for sale in Christchurch.
It's 125 years this week since women got the vote, a landmarked event spearheaded largely by Kate Sheppard.
Now, her stately Clyde Road home where much of the suffrage movement was run from is open to buyers.
Trademe is listing the heritage listed, kauri-built home.
It says alterations have made the house fit for 21st century living, but not compromising its original form and character.
The 310 metre square, four-bedroom home on a more than 4000 square metre section is being sold by auction in mid-October.
