Honda New Zealand is recalling another 16,000 vehicles, over concerns about a possible fault with the driver or front seat airbags.
It's part of a global recall of 4.89 million Hondas fitted with airbags made by a Japanese company, Takata.
The vehicles affected are New Zealand-new Honda Civic, Jazz, Accord Euro, and CR-Vs.
Honda New Zealand is also investigating whether any second- hand, Japanese Used imported vehicles might also be affected by the recall.
National Service Manager Bryan Davis says owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted.
He adds there have been no reports of incidents in New Zealand where airbags in vehicles affected by the recall might have deployed abnormally.
