UPDATED 4.51pm: A person is dead after a motorbike and car collided on Harris St in Huntly.

A motorcyclist has died when his north-bound bike crashed into a car heading south.

The driver of the car was uninjured. The crash happened just before 3pm today.

Harris St and Glen Murray Rd are closed and diversions are in place.

Police are still at the scene and have asked motorists for their patience.
