A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Christchurch.
It happened just before 8am this morning on Opawa Road in Opawa.
Police says it appears the car did a u-turn in front of the motorbike.
The motorcyclist is currently in Christchurch Hospital with a hip injury.
Police hope to speak to him this afternoon.
