The High Court has overturned the discharge without conviction for Korotangi Paki.
The Maori King's second son was let off drink driving charges earlier this year by the Auckland District Court.
The judge was worried a conviction may affect his place in the line of succession to King Tuheitia.
NZME. reports the Crown appealed that and Paki will be convicted of drink driving.
