A former Northland detective faces a lengthy jail sentence tomorrow for drug offences.
Michael Blowers will appear for sentencing in the High Court at Whangarei for stealing methamphetamine and then supplying it to a drug dealer.
Charlie Greenhalgh reports.
"Michael Blowers is to appear in the High Court tomorrow at 9am.
"His trial was cut short last month after he admitted to stealing methamphetamine from a police store room and then replacing it with table salt.
"Following his guilty plea, Blower's defence lawyer Arthur Fairly voiced his concerns for Blower's safety, as he could be jailed alongside those he once put away."
