After graduating from the University of Otago, Tim worked for a couple of years as a barrister and solicitor in his home town of Rotorua. He then changed course and went on to pursue a musical career which has spanned more than 20 years in a multitude of roles including promoter, producer, conductor and singer. He also has his pilot’s licence. Tim is married to a proud Cantabrian with whom he has two beautiful daughters - his finest achievement!
Bruce started in the broadcasting business a few long years ago, writing ads. During that time he began doing some announcing and was posted to various stations as a community announcer, doing every shift under the sun. While in Timaru he switched into the programming side of things and later did a management stint at a small station in the central North Island. He moved to the big smoke, Auckland, and was offered an overnight shift, took to it like a duck to water, and has been there ever since and still loves it. In addition to that, he reads news at weekends and hosts the Saturday night show In My Day.
Bruce is often asked when he sleeps…his reply: Rust never sleeps, and neither does Russell. He does not have his pilot’s licence, being a reluctant flyer.
