The continent of Antarctica has long been a fascination for many in this country.

Well now, with the Antarctic Heritage Trust, a group of young explorers are headed to the icy continent.

The group, which includes Sir Edmund Hillary's grandson, Alexander - will also kayak in the waters with Olympian Mike Dawson.

Mike Dawson and Alexander Hillary joined Mike Hosking in studio to discuss the trip.
