Most Americans are unlikely to be pleased at the decision to release OJ Simpson from jail.
It is thought the judge that sentenced him nine years ago, took into account his 1995 acquittal for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman.
US correspondent Richard Arnold told Larry Williams at the civil trial that followed, he was found to have committed the killings and was ordered to pay $33 million, which he hasn't paid.
"A recent poll shows 83 percent of people here, myself among them, believe Simpson is guilty, and that also includes these days the majority of African-Americans."
