Allison Janney is best known to many for her Emmy-winning roles as White House Press Secretary C.J. Cregg in The West Wing, but for the last few years the acclaimed actress has been carving out a new niche for herself as Bonnie Plunkett in Mom.

She talked to Mike Hosking about her latest role and her upcoming, Oscar-hyped turn as Tonya Harding's fiery mother in the Margot Robbie-led biopic in I, Tonya.
