MAORI ACTIVISTS

These Maori activists that took over Kaitaia Airport should have been carted away or blown away with fire hoses as soon as they refused to move.

They should be been booted off there last night.

Six are resolute and staying - don't see why they can't deal to them.

If there's an issue with a treaty settlement you negotiate - and there could be in this case - but you don't hijack an airport.

The Minister called these occupiers "miscreants" and they didn't reflect Ngati Kahu.... now why does this not come as a surprise ?

Which brings me to the layabouts who took over the airport - two of them, Wi and John Popata, Hone Harawira's nephews, who made headlines for assaulting the PM John Key....so you can see what we are dealing with here....they are what you call serial protestors..... pity they have to rope all the little kids in with them.

Here's an idea - its a good bet they're all on the dole - cut it.

Next thing - introduce work programmes in Northland and make the dole conditional on a 40 hour week cleaning up and contributing to the community -any slacking - cut the dole.

Better still - conscript them into the army and send them to Syria.

REFUGEES

Now that the government has committed to take Syrian refugees...... John Key should look to a greater commitment to deal to ISIS.

The hand wringers still banging on about how the government should taking even more refugees don't seem too interested in dealing with the problem which is ISIS. They will sit on the sidelines on that one and have a liberal talkfest about what more we can do for the refugees. Probably even oppose a greater NZ commitment to the war against ISIS. In the end it just means more ISIS slaughter and even more refugees. They will keep on running. It wil not stop.

Australia is increasing its commitment to the war against ISIS. Tony Abbot has given the go-ahead to air strikes against ISIS in Syria, they are doing their bit, and John Key should look to extend our involvement.

If we have an obligation to take Syrian refugees, we have an obligation to commit to fixing the problem.

The PM won't commit but he should.
