A Malaysian man seriously injured in a car accident has crawled through jungle for three days before happening upon an isolated village.

The man, identified as Nicholas Andrew, showed up at the village on Wednesday, after the car he was driving sped off a highway in central Malaysia into a ravine early on Sunday morning.

Police say Andrew broke his arm and leg and a passenger was killed.

Andrew then crawled close to a river until he reached the village.
