Caroline Wozniacki's doing her best to bypass external distractions ahead of her first round match at the ASB Tennis Classic in Auckland.
The tournament's top seed is in action this evening.
The world number three will meet American Madison Brengle in the evening session on day two and can jump to world number one if she wins the tournament for the first time.
Wozniacki said she's enjoying the fact that she's played well recently.
"My main focus is just trying to get in that match rhythm, it's always difficult when you play the first tournament of the year, you want to kind of get that feel for it and start peaking."
Wozniacki said she loves playing in the Auckland tournament and it's a great way to start to the year.
"It's very relaxed and I think Carl [Budge] does a great job of just making everyone feel welcome and at home and I think that is the key, that is why I like starting my year here."
The evening session's scheduled to start at 7pm, with kiwi hope Jade Lewis facing Viktoria Kuzmova at the conclusion of Wozniacki's match.
