Winston Peters has emerged from a more than two hour coalition meeting with the National Party at Parliament - but he didn't have much to say to reporters.
Speaking after the meeting, he said he would not be talking about any of the negotiations that took place.
On the result of the special votes, which yesterday showed National down two seats and the Labour/Green Party bloc up two, Mr Peters also remained coy.
He said he had nothing to say on the matter except "it did pay to wait."
Mr Peters will be meeting with the Labour Party this afternoon.
He has previously asserted his decision will be announced on October 12th.
