The Warriors insist Wellington has done nothing wrong as they take the NRL to another region.

New Plymouth's Yarrow Stadium will host the Warriors one scheduled game outside of Auckland next year.

Managing director Jim Doyle said they just wanted to try something new.

He said they've been extremely happy with the ways things have gone in the capital and imagines they'll be returning there very soon.
