Former Black Cap Lou Vincent has walked out of Hamilton District Court without a conviction, after admitting wilful damage to a woman's car in Pukekohe.

A community magistrate acknowledged he had no previous criminal convictions, and the consequences to him would be out of proportion to the offence.

Vincent has agreed to pay $700 in reparations.

The former opening batsman was banned from cricket for life by the England and Wales Cricket Board, after admitting 18 counts of match-fixing.
