One person has been injured after an incident involving a scenic helicopter flight near Arrowtown this afternoon.
A group of six were on board the helicopter when it left Queenstown for Mount Sale just before 3 o'clock.
The Helicopter Line chief executive Jeff Staniland said the helicopter ''tipped over'' while landing on snow on Mt Sale during a sightseeing flight.
"We dispatched another helicopter straight away and we have brought everyone back to Queenstown."
"We had St Johns ambulance waiting for them who assessed everybody, so they are being looked after."
One person has a cut to their knee, but the remaining passengers are fine.
Mount Sale is about half way between Arrowtown and Cardrona village.
