A family at the centre of the 2012 Carterton Ballooning tragedy believe authorities should have been more open at the time about what had happened.
Vivien and Allan Still are the parents of 19-year-old Alexis Still who was among the 11 people that died.
They've told a parliamentary hearing they were kept in the dark immediately after the accident and throughout subsequent investigations and they're critical of how authorities have dealt with them.Â
