Tributes are being paid to a trailblazing Air New Zealand pilot who's died in Australia, after becoming ill moments after she landed a plane.
Ann Barbarich suffered a suspected brain aneurysm after the flight from Auckland landed in Perth on Sunday.
One of the three other pilots in the cockpit at the time took control of the plane, taxiing it to the gate, while the others went to her aid.
She's since died in hospital.
Captain Barbarich was one of Air New Zealand's first female pilots and the airline says she was widely respected.
Aviation body CTC Aviation says she will be greatly missed.
It says she was very well-known in the industry, and was a great role model for women in aviation.
