Why do we love Wellington? I mean, what's not to love about the coolest little capital in the world?!

Here are some of the reasons why:

- The coffee: We have the best flat whites in the world and more cafes per capita than New York City. We only do double shots here, so if you like your caffeinated beverages strong this is the place to be.

- The Wellington Phoenix: The home of the only professional football team in the country taking on Australia's best. Plenty of live action and of course the rabid Yellow Fever will be at the stadium all summer!

- Weird people: Here you are given space to be weird and people encourage it. If you've ever walked down Cuba street you know what this means.

- The Basin Reserve: There is just nothing better than watching a test match at New Zealand’s premier cricket ground with the wireless set on Radio Sport's commentary team, as you enjoy a beer and a hot dog.

- You just can't beat Wellington on a good day: A phrase that is often coined by the locals but it's true. The waterfront is amazing and is home to the leaning man statue which the locals seem to enjoy knitting clothing for him.

Go ahead and name another city's 'good day' better than Wellington's...

Yeah I didn't think so.
