On Sports Fix with D'Arcy Waldegrave and Jason Pine for 4th December 2025, earlier today an open letter signed by a number of former Black Cap international cricketers was sent out with concerns around the NZ20 competition being proposed in New Zealand.

This privately backed competition is one of the four proposed options for the future of T20 franchise cricket in New Zealand.

Don Mackinnon is the Chairman of the NZ20 establishment committee and he joined D'Arcy to respond to the claims
