The Tower of London is marking the 100th Anniversary of the First World War with a spectacular art installation called 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' by ceramic artist Paul Cummins. It's comprised of 888,246 ceramic poppies, each poppy representing a British or Colonial military fatality during the war. The title was taken from the first line of a poem by an unknown World War I soldier, which begins: "The blood swept lands and seas of red, / Where angels dare to tread..."
