For the eleventh month straight, New Zealand has set a new migration record.
With that in mind, here are the 10 ten countries for proportion of foreign born residents.Â
Statistics New Zealand figures show a record net gain of 58,300 migrants in the year to June. Approximately 25% of people living in New Zealand were born overseas.Â
Arrivals have been led by India, Australia, China and the Philippines.
While all regions have gained international migrants, half of all those who stated an address on their arrival card were moving to the Auckland region.
