1/7 Who stood out in the All Blacks win over South Africa?
2/7
2/7 Charles Piutau was named Man of the Match, after a tremendous all round effort. He made two crucial covering plays on defence, ran 91 metres, beat 5 defenders and made 3 clean breaks. It was a game that showed why he has been rated so highly by the All Black selectors this season.
3/7
3/7 Kieran Read kept the All Blacks alive during a difficult first spell, when they were often under the pump. He made 15 tackles, and was the lynchpin of a defensive line that often looked close to buckling, but never completely broke. Read also put in excellent work in the lineout.
4/7
4/7 He didn't look like a debutant. For a first up effort, Lima Sopoaga was calm, composed and kicked well. His running game showed confidence, and it was his brilliant break that put Ben Smith over for the first All Blacks try.
5/7
5/7 For the All Blacks, it was the bench that won it. Late legs got them over the line, and Malakai Fekitoa had an outstanding impact in his short spell on the field. He made 51 metres, including a searing break through the midfield, and set up a crucial try.
6/7
6/7 South Africa were led by a dominant performance from Schalk Burger. He seemed to be everywhere, had an immense workrate, and very nearly led his team to victory.
7/7
7/7 Jesse Kriel was the standout in a surprisingly dangerous Springbok backline. The young 13 showed blinding pace, an ability to hit gaps and seemed to break the line at will. He scored one try and set up another.
