1/10 Nehe Milner-Skudder had a dream debut, running in two tries and looking threatening throughout. Immense work rate, wasn't fazed by an early knock to the head and probably played himself into the World Cup squad.

2/10 Adam Ashley-Cooper brought up a record for the most tries scored against the All Blacks, and was more generally a steadying influence on the Wallabies. Calm, composed and a crucial component in the win.

3/10 Set up a try with a beautiful break, ran kick returns with intent and looked like a natural fit at fullback.

4/10 Seemed to create turnovers at will, including two hugely important steals early in the match. The standout in a strong Wallabies loose forward trio.

6/10 Leading the charge for the unfortunate honour of worst player on the field was Nick Phipps. Threw horrific passes, looked lost, and managed to get himself sin-binned.

7/10 His opposite Aaron Smith wasn't much better. Sloppy performance all round, and also spent time in the bin for a poorly executed high tackle.

8/10 Dan Carter looked out of place, repeatedly botching what should have been simple kicks. Has shown flashes of brilliance this season but never looked in control against Australia.

9/10 Sonny Bill-Williams lacked penetration in a midfield that was sorely missing Ma'a Nonu. Failed to make the most of the golden opportunity to cement a place in the starting XV.

10/10 Perhaps a bit harsh to include him in this list, but this wasn't the Kieran Read All Black fans have come to know and love. Played an ordinary game and missed two crucial tackles.
