The name Reggie Miller has gone down in NBA history, as one of the greats.
He played his entire career with the Indiana Pacers, was a five time NBA all-star, and represented his country at the Olympics.
But it was the standing ovation granted to him on his final match that showed the respect and status that he had built up over his 18 years in the NBA.Â
Detroit Pistons coach Larry Brown called an additional timeout as Miller left the court for the final time, standing with his team to applaud and acknowledge an outstanding career.Â
The crowd joined in, chanting Miller's name as one.Â
The moment was voted ESPN's Best Moment of 2005.Â
