Lecretia Seales' husband, Matt Vickers, revealed how she reacted to the judge's decision to deny her doctor to help her die without criminal prosecution. 

Vickers said his wife was hurt and disappointed when he relayed the ruling to her.

However, he did thank the New Zealand public for entering into a robust debate about euthanasia that did not stray into personal comments made about Seales.
