Jim Beam Homegrown organisers have announced the first line-up for next year's event, despite ongoing uncertainty around Covid-19.

Staged on Wellington's waterfront, the all-Kiwi music festival will take place on March 19, 2022, with tickets available now.

Drax Project are set to be one of the main attractions.

They group formed after studying in Wellington and busking on Courtenay Place.

Now they have risen to popularity with hits like 'Catching Feelings' and 'Woke Up Late', and have opened for Christina Aguilera, Six60 and Lorde.

Band members Ben O'Leary and Shaan Singh caught up with Wellington Mornings host Nick Mills about their year so far and the upcoming music festival - and played 'Catching Feelings' live.
