This week the Wellington City Council will begin consulting with Cuba Street businesses on plans to remove 20 car parks between Ghuznee Street and Vivian Street.

The plan looks to pedestrianise the area on a trial basis, as part of the Let's Get Wellington Moving initiative.

Olivia Amoah owns the Lazulé jewellers with her mother, and is strongly opposed to the plans.
